Sir,
In obedience to the act of Congress of the 3d June last, I do myself the honor to inform your Excellency that the following Officers, besides one Lieutenant Colonel Commandant, one Regimental Surgeon and one Mate, will be required of the State of Pennsylvania to command her quota of Militia to be raised under that resolution for the defence of the Western posts.
Artillery, 1 Captain, 2 Lieutenants.
Infantry, 2 Captains, 2 Lieutenants, 2 Ensigns.
