Norwich January 2nd 1784

Dear Sir

Are you yet (undecipherable) condition to against my commissary account - number of congress to whom I wrote on the subject told me congress had taken some fresh steps towards compelling the commissary of issues to render the necessary accounts. I have obtained from a commissary of purchases a certificate of the value of what I had accrued/not every part of the ration/ I do not think (undecipherable) write to send for any of my certificates of (undecipherable) until there can be a complete settlement. Govt thank you for a line by Mr (undecipherable) on the subject. I am dear Sir with sincere regard.
