I certify that myself and five Indian Chiefs on our Return from Philadelphia were detained at Pittsburg by the River’s being impassable from the 11th to the 17th January incl. and during that time boarded & lodged as above Stated at Mrs. Mary Murphey’s and that the above Account amounting to 72 82 / 100 Dollars is just. W. Knaggs Pittsburg, January 17th 1799 Received Pittsburg April 29.th of John Wilkins junior Luante Mr Gen by Horace Craig Deputy [undecipherable] M General Seventy two Dollars & eighty two cents in fall for the above account duplicate
