[undecipherable]] Pittsburg 19^th Jan.^y 1798 Sir I transmit you enclosed the list of monies received by you from the Treasury, & my signature to the receipt on the back — I should have executed it before, but you did not inform me it was necessary in any of your former letters, & I considered the Power of Attorney adequate to every purpose — I before requested your attention to have the vouchers for the disbursements of cash made by Major Grange passed to my credit.
