I rather suppose that the bill of Exchange alluded to was not left in the office by M^r Bloodworth. I remember seeing the bill when presented — but cannot recollect whether it was left — or whither taken away — as the above letter of advice directs that a receipt should be taken for the bill — if the bill was lodged here — the receipt produced will prove the fact — & if no receipt is produced — it is pretty clear the bill was withdrawn C.
