Fenner our Agent, the second I forwarded to W^m Pierce and referred him to Col^o Ashe, the third I now inclose to Col^o Abisha Thomas who will wait on you and is authorised by me to transact the business in my be=half. — I am sorry you have been put to so much trouble in examining the Accounts, but hope you will excuse me, as there is still a balance due. — As soon as this comes to hand, I will thank you to take the most effectual method to settle this business with Col.
