Isaac Boan having enlisted for fifteen Months is not entitled [strikethrough: to depreciation on pay] under the Act of the 10 April 1780. to depreciation on pay — no doubt he received the Nominue pay to the 1 Jan'y 1780 with the Rest of the Regiment — his claim is however now barred — I woud [undecipherable] your attention to the signature of Col. Thomson under date of Jan'y 1st 1794 and to that on the Certificate of John Donaldson under date first above of the above mentioned, by a comparison I am confident the first [strikethrough: is not] will appear to you a Forgery I herewith return the papers. with great Respect
