I certify that I have examined Robert Carby formerly a private under the command of Major Williamson; when in action with the Tories at a place called Ninety Six in South Carolina — He received a wound — On examination it appears that the Ball entered obliquely upwards between the internal & external Condyles of the Os Femo which Shot having destroyed some of the most important blood vessels & Tendons — deprives him nearly of the use of his Leg.
