Sir Inclosed I transmit as you may
account for pay due me as Clerk of the Navy Yard
in this place for the last six months to the 30th
September Inclusive. I have always recd
my pay through the medium of William Simmons
Esqt accountant for the Department of war quarterly
but by a Letter from him under date of the 6th Sept.
