Richmond^s October 22^d 1784 M^r By the inclosed account settled with M^r Dunscomb, you will perceive I have given Credit for six months pay, which I have not received, and which he informs me I am now to receive — in Money, notwithstanding the money I received from General Greene on account, which I have given Credit for besides. By his direction I have also drawn upon you for the amount of my Rations for 1782 and 1783, which being Aid de Camp to General Greene, are those retained, the price of which you will please to Add to the account, as I do not know them. I suppose I will be same as contracted for, for the supply of the Southern Army — The Credit given by Abram Skinner is an order which I drew upon him When I was exchanged, and I never knew of his having accepted it, til I applied to M^rs Dunscomb.
