Sir,
Your letter dated 30th January with the accounts of John Morris late a surgeon in the 3d U. S. Regt. The accounting account has been examined & such of the Contingent charges as were admissible have been allowed to his credit leaving a balance in the States Office of Oct 1799 [undecipherable].
