I Certify that there is and to Alex: Humphries the sum of Seven hundred eighty dollars & fifty two [undecipherable] currency for Bills & Returns of provisions and wagonage and Gratuity Accounts at Abingdon from 1st July to 31st Decr 1799, for this reason suspended on a former settlement and now allowed in consequence of additional testimony by which, for advance purchase of malt on the troops at Abingdon in Cumberland, this has been made & satisfied satisfies [undecipherable] as to the use of the troops at Abingdon Condition Now rendered Agreeably to Instructions, in the Year 1799 — W.S.
