Articles of Agreement, made on the Thirty first day of [undecipherable] Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred between SAMUEL DEXTER, Secretary for the Department of War of the United States of America, of the one part, and William Colfax of Bergen County in the State of New Jersey of the other part.
THE AGREEMENT WITNESSETH, That the said Samuel Dexter, for and on behalf of the United States of America, and the said William Colfax his heirs [undecipherable] do mutually covenant and agree [undecipherable] and with each other, as follows, viz:
