Decem 1800 Dear Sir Your Letter of the 12^th instant enclosing an Invoice of Stationary contained in a Box addressed to Gen^l Wilkinson which Stationary if I understand it right is to be delivered to me by the Gen^l — Yesterday at 12 oClock in Company with several of the Officers and Citizens I had the Honour of meeting the Gen^l at the two Mile run his Arrival Occasions considerable additional Business in Q. M. Dep^t — he tells me this Morning that all the Guns are to be Mounted here That A Large Quantity of Shot is to be procured for the N. W. posts Cap^t Reed says he will pay the Draft as soon as possible and were it in his power would not till Due — I have stopped Cap^t Turner's Pay the Amount of Jolands Bill of Articles purchased by You for him in December last viz $37³⁰/100 and have Enclosed herein thirty Eight Dollars in Notes viz one of $20 one of $10. one of $5 one of $3 Dollars total $38= — The Q. M.
