Sir, Your letters of the 8th & 9 inst came to hand this morning enclosing an Order for forwarding to Fort Independance at Boston Military Stores which shall be duly attended to— The [underline: Sheet Lead] is not on hand— the Lead on hand at this Post is in Bars, in this state I presume you would not wish any sent—
Enclosed is a Receipt for the Powder forwarded Boston for the use of the Navy— Also an Estimate of the probable amount of expenditures for the Armory for the month of December— I shall have a warrant for the fifteen hundred Dollars by the mail on monday agreeably to advise.
