I have received Your letter of the 5th instant Enclosing one addressed to the Genl not Yet arrived but a letter from him on the 8th at Juniata informs us, he may be expected on the 14th or 15th —
I have as formerly continued the Distribution of the Clothing under the Orders of the Commanding Officer of the Western Army — Capt Vance being now here Some Arrangement will be made in that business previous to his Departure — Four of the 24 Pdrs & three of the 12 Pdrs have Arrived & I hear of the others being on the Way — Pray is it intended that these Guns are to be Mounted at this place —
