Philad^a Dec^r 33 1800 Sir Agreeable to your instructions I have examined the Muskets lately received from Virginia, and find them to be in the following state Viz^t 470 wants cleaning, &repairing, @ $1/3 130 " " " " worse state " $1/[undecipherable] 6 " new Stocks — " 1/6 14 " new Splicing — " 6/ These Musk from Virginia have all been new Stock^d I then examined the Muskets in Race Street Store and found them as follows Viz^t 50 Muskets to be cleaned &repaired, @ 3/9 63 German Musk — ditto & stamp " 3/9 66 to be cleaned &rep^d in a worse State — " 1/[undecipherable] 16 to be new Stocked — " 1/6 11 to be Spliced — " 6/ N.B.
