I have received your favor of the 28th Ult.
Mr Annetty who was appointed to inspect the Arms Manufactured at Hagers Town by Mr Claggett, which it is presumed are the same that you mention, having declined proceeding in the business, you will be pleased to inspect those now on hand and that may be manufactured by Mr Claggett hereafter.
As it is probable that Mr Annetty may have inspected some of those mentioned by you, you will particularly notice the Circumstance in your report
