It having been decided that the Militia of the Expedition commonly called Johnsons should be settled agreeably to the provisions made by law. You are hereby requested to forward to this office the Muster & Pay Rolls, and any other documents in your posession tending to establish that claim. That measures may be taken for paying the amount. I have notified Mr Claiborne that I would write to you to this effect. and request your immediate attention thereto.
