James Byres jr for D^rs 1292 80 C Fred^k Spriggs ........ go — making together thirteen hundred thirty five dollars to the debts which are to be carried on the books of this Office. With respect to M^r Fleming, his account was lately stated in this Office in which appears a considerable balance in his favor, previous to reporting on this amount I deem it necessary that he should transmit a Statement in order to check the one made here & have written to him twice on the subject & have rec^d no answer — Sam^l [undecipherable] [undecipherable] Caleb Swan Esq^r November 6^th 1800 P.
