I received your letter dated 30 Ulto — enclosing the following receipts Viz &c.
James Byres Jr for Dr 1293 10 Cts
Fredk Briggs . . . . . . . . go — making together thirteen hundred thirty five dollars to the denits which need be taken on the books of this Office.
With respect to Mr Fleurey, his account was lately stated in this Office, in which appears a considerable balance in his favor, previous to referring on this amount I deem it necessary that he should transmit a Statement in order to check the one made here, & have written to him herein on the subject & have recd no answer—
