Sparks fifty to William Dugan for services from 15 Nov. 1791 to 26 June 1794 Ninety five Dollars and twenty Cents, referred him to Capt. [undecipherable: Guthe?] for the balance — I enclose by this Mail Copy of my waste Book for the month of September. M^r. Hillis will set off some- time in January for to assist in the settlement of my Accounts to the last of the Year, for it is my desire so to arrange the business that a Settlement may be made as near as can admitted without my presence, that when it is proper for me to set off for the seat of Government I may be absent from this Country, a short only time. — M^r.
