Sir, The Secretary of War informs me that General Wilkinson when at Harpers Ferry, requested M^r Hennin to send to Pittsburg, the following articles for the use of the first, second, and third Regiments of Infantry, [strikethrough: viz] and they were accordingly forwarded Viz: Six hundred Bayonet Scabbards and Belts, Six hundred Cartouch Boxes and Belts. Twenty two Swords and Belts for non Commissioned Officers; which you will therefore; Be pleased to deduct from the amount of the order in favor of those Regiments; issued from this Office on the 20^th September 1800, the same having been supplied from Harpers Ferry.
