October 1800 Sir Be pleased to deliver to John Wilkins Esq^r Quarter master General or order, the following Clothing for the use of the troops stationed at Niagara agreeably to a requisition from Samuel Vance acting Clothier General, dated 17^th September 1800 (Viz: Complete suits of clothing for eight Sergeants, eight Corporals, four Musicians, and one hundred and twenty Privates, belonging to the first Regiment of Infantry, and Complete suits of Clothing for one Sergeant two Corporals, and twenty five privates, belonging to the first Regiment of Artillerists and Engineers. The whole to be addressed to the Quarter Master at Pittsburg, and to be by him held subject to the order of the said Samuel Vance.
