Sir-
Last evening your favour of the 19th instant came to hand. I have no Return for Clothing for the Troops at Pittsburg - a number of arms and ther Military supplies are on the way. General Wilkinson returns to Washington from his present tour, and will probably remain there all next month. You forget the matter of the account for sundries forwarded to you for Captain Turner. His fish is compleatly packed in a strong Box and shall go in the first Waggon that loads. I have paid for rights & passage five shillings which you will please to receive of Captain Turner and place to my credit. The Secretary of War continues too much indisposed to attend to much business.
I am sir, your most Obedient Servant Samuel Hodgdon
Major Isaac Craig
