Sir I have received your Letter of the 20^th. Instant enclosing One thousand Dollars in Post Notes on account of the Armory. In your Letter of the 13^th inst. you observe "that the Rolled Iron, Furnished for the Armory, must be drawn as Sheet Iron" — in this shape it will be inconvenient & work to waste — It will accommodate better to have it drawn as Hoop Iron as usually — I hope you have received my letter of the 20^th. I am anxiously waiting your direction and decision, relative to the Contract of Coal — M^r Lyman appears to be some better, but by no means out of danger.
