We the subscribers being Inhabitants of the City of Hartford and carrying on the Blacksmiths Business in said City do hereby certify that we have pur-chased of John Colby & Co. each of us a Quantity of Virginia Cole & have tried & proved the Same in our several Shops and do find that they are of a good Quality, and do certify that they are Merchantable and that they came in Captain Josiah Demmings Vessel
