I have to request that you will be good enough to direct, that quantity & size to be forwarded to this Post, for the use of the United States Armory. I have also to request, that when any articles are forwarded to this Post for the use of the Armory– that I may be informed of the quantity – by whose care they are forwarded by whether I am to discharge the freight from Philadelphia – in that case– the price of transportation agreed upon – is also necessary for me to know.
