I have to inform you of the settlement of your account of supplies against the United States on the State of Connecticut, between 1 Augst & 30 June 1800, & of the amounts of the four vouchers which were written on the face of the 12th 1804 list; being for Rations, I remark how I also furnished the 13th Regt between 4 Oct 1799 & 30 March 1800 on the whole of which your balance is 9 Dolrs 19 Cents but from which I have deducted the 10 Talions [owed?] by Mr Staning, upon the return of final altiss it being only a copy of the original return, and there being no receipts from him also, to show that said Manning had not drawn 10 talions upon another return of the same home as was required by my letter of the 12 May about 16 Cents — [Dr 12—
