In consequence of Cap^t Blair's additional ref^ce to M^r McAfee's Jones claim for forit furnished that Officer and Viol Costs which when transmitted to this Office in your his of the 4 Inst, with your remarks thereon — I have thought proper to pass this amount being D 77 to his credit agains the Sum of D^rs 65 at with which he was charged & the balance of D^rs 12 you will receive from the Treasurer of the United States to be by you paid to him upon his giving you the necessary receipts — Sam^l [undecipherable] P.S.
