I have received your letter of the 11th Inst and in answer to which I have to inform you, that your account of Supplies furnished the 6th Regt of Infantry in March April & May last has been stated and after deducting the amount of your draft in favor of John Willms leaves a balance due to you of two thousand forty four Dollars & [undecipherable] which you will receive from Joseph I Mc Aller Collector at Wilmington on your giving him the necessary Rect.

Your's of the 22d Instant came only to hand enclosing the account of Fife Bowles claim of 70 Drs [undecipherable] out of a house rented as an hospital for Capt Leavas Company in 1798 & 1799 which will be attended to in course.
In consequence of Capt Blair's additional refce to Mr McAfee's Jones claim for forit furnished that Officer and Viol Costs which when transmitted to this Office in your his of the 4 Inst, with your remarks thereon — I have thought proper to pass this amount being D 77 to his credit agains the Sum of Drs 65 at with which he was charged & the balance of Drs 12 you will receive from the Treasurer of the United States to be by you paid to him upon his giving you the necessary receipts —
