I have received your letter of the 16 Inst enclosing an account of Mr Henden Military Store Keeper at Albany, for his pay from 1 April to 30 June 1800 amounting to one hundred & twenty seven dollars 100/°°, which sum has been placed in the hands of Samuel Meredith Esq Tresr of the United States agreably to your request.
The accounts of the Contractor for North Carolina have been received but which remain unexamined until a copy of his arrangement made with Griffith [undecipherable] as the Agent for this Department, is transmitted to this Office of which she has been informed &c
