Sir I enclose a Letter received this morning from M^r George Harrison, on behalf of the Agents for settling the Accounts of the late Purveyor, relative to an Invoice of Gun Locks imported in the Washington from London, by order of the said Purveyor, and a Letter from M^r Hodgdon relative to a Contract for Cartouch Box Blocks. As it is proper that all Contracts made under the Authority of the Department should, on its part, be regularly complied with, you will be pleased to apply for the necessary information to M^r Harrison, in whose possession the Books and Papers of the late Purveyor now are, for that purpose.
