O'Hara will be with you by the time this reaches you, he as well as myself will be greatly obliged to you for assistance in procuring a man with the necessary qualifications of Foreman in a Glass manufactory in which we have prospects of succeeding, The situation of our Works being at least equal to any in the United States — being on the bank of the river at the foot of the Coal hill out of which we are supplied with the best Coal, I suppose in the world & at a trifling expence — The principal component materials of Glass are also conveniently obtained & our river a safe conveyance for brittle ware — The Cutters you enquire about are Smiths tools the names taken from an Invoice of Smiths tools that came to hand some years ago & continued I am Sir, Your very obed Servant Isaac Craig Samuel Hodgdon esq Philad.^a
