I duly received your two letters of the 11 inst, one acknowledging the receipt of my last of the 2d inst the other inclosing two accounts from Greaton Haskell for his disbursements on the present year for the Hospital Department as agent under the Contract of James & Bean, as no settlement can take place but with the latter this must be considered as improperly render'd at this Office and will therefore be returned here subject to your or Mr Haskell's further orders —
