The account of [undecipherable] Brown for rations & Quarter Master supplies furnished your Detachment for the month of January, has been received at this Office— Before payment can be made it will be necessary that your [undecipherable] present returns & the [undecipherable] from [undecipherable] Commissary Officers & Privates, comp[rising] the number for which the rations were drawn— Specifying the names of Commissary Officers, & the number of the non Commissioned Officers & Privates & the rations duly drawn— It is also necessary that each particular bill of [receipts] for the purchases of the Quarter Master Stores should accompany the [general] statement [undecipherable] cannot be procured the oath of Mr Brown as to the [prices] generally must be annexed— As the accounts remain [suspended] for want of these documents, you are requested to forward them to this Office without delay—
