No. 8 Fort Wilkinson June 27th 1800 Draft of a letter to Mr. John Harris. [undecipherable] of [undecipherable] Phila in answer to his of the 27th Ulto. May Fort Wilkinson June 27th 1800 Sir Your favour of the 27th Ultimo May, came to hand by post some days since, I shall attend to it’s contents. In a letter recd at the same time from the late Secry of War, he directed, that if I have not been furnished with Forms, for keeping and rendering the factory accounts, to apply for the same from either the Comptroller of the Treasury, or the Accountant of the War Department. I will thank you sir, to apply for them in my behalf and forward them by Post. I have been I hope an asst. will come on shortly in a short time, I have been unwell for ten days past.
