Sir, Your Letter of the 11th. inst. came to hand yesterday by the Post from Boston - as did that of the 9th. those of the 10th & 19th enclosing Post Notes [undecipherable] and - [undecipherable] observe by the dates of mine advising the receipt of the Money -
The Post Master here - tells me he believes the Letters now are distributed at the Office at Hartford agreeable to the intention of the [undecipherable: P.M.G.?] - of course those above referred to - as having [strikethrough: their road to Boston] - must be attributed to their being placed in a wrong bundle or Mail at Philadelphia - Should the irregularity continues I will advise you immediately of it -
