[orders an advance of three months pay to Capt MacRea]
War Dept 26 June 1800.
Sir
I enclose a Copy of a Letter received this morning from Capto William MacRea of the Second Regiment of Artillerists and Engineers.
I am of opinion that his request of an advance of pay and subsistence is reasonable and ought to be granted: you will therefore be pleased to cause the proper measures to be taken to that effect, as soon as possible. Capto MacRea states that, he has forwarded his accounts for Settlement.
