Philadelphia 25th June 1800
Sir
I have received your letter of the 23 inst. Since the receipt of your letter I have examined into the state of the public Store, respecting the articles which for the reasons offered you wish to draw from thence for the supply of the Indian Annuities. I find it such as will warrant the supply and am therefore clearly of opinion they should be delivered for the purpose. The imported articles under the same advance on the invoices as is usually charged by Merchants — and the other article at its known current price.
I am, Sir,
Your most obedient Servant
