Dear Sir,
I was obliged to write in my office untill near 10 O'clock last evening, & when I left it I was so fatigued & unwell that I could not examine the papers in my possession — I cannot give a determination without doing it; and owing to my having engaged in the superintendance of sending away the different officers, in addition to my duties as Purveyor, I find it impracticable for one to attend to the Arbitration, I must therefore request that Mr Petit & yourself would fix on some other person instead of
