On settlement of the acctt of Genl Williams as provisional Surveyor, we hav accd several on the books of this Office for the amount of expenditures made by him for the service of acting on the Surveyors books during the period which his Duty in that capacity, of which the major part appears to have been delivered to John Morris military Store [undecipherable], he seems to have been deposited on the War Office, an explanatory [undecipherable] of which, I herewith transmit you in order that the necessary [undecipherable] may be made on the books of the Superintendant of Military Stores —
