You Stand charged on the books of this Office with three thousand, Seventy four Dollars & 9/100, four hundred Dollars of which were placed on your hands on account of the Arrannoy Premm — it Acept dated 31 Augt 1796 the balance remaining on it of money placed in your hands for the pay of the troops station at Fort Norfolkn from 1 April to 31 July 1798 —
I request you will immediately forward your accounts with the necessary vouchers, in order that the amount paid by you may be passed to your credit, & the balance (if any remains) you will please refund to the Treasurer of the U. S. to close your account at this Office —
