In reply to your remark respecting Mr Fleming's Salary I have to observe he has a large unsettled account now under examination at this Office, embracing his Salary to the 31st March last in which appears a considerable balance in his favor when completed the amount found due will be transmitted him in the usual way — Sam Y. It may therefore be proper that you form a statement from the Books of your late Receiver, & forward the same with any additional vouchers which may be in your possession, so as to enable me to make a final statement of the accounts.
