Your accounts for Supplies to the Troops of the United States in Connecticut on Jany Feby &March 1800, amounting of your statement to fifteen hundred & seventy three dollars & 1/100, have been duly examined, and the sum of four hundreds & thirteen dollars & 80, deducted therefrom, for various rations in the relative acct. of difference, which deduction leaves the sum of one thousand a[hundred] [undecipherable] nine dollars & 1/100, passed to your credit — consequently a balance remains in favour of the United States of two hundreds & ninety one dollars & 1/100, for which from you will be held accountable —
