Claiborne, on Settlem^t of 16 December 1799, he has received a credit in this Office for sundry payments made by him leaving a balance now standing to his debit of two hundred & twenty dollars & ⁹⁷/100 which sum you will please to deduct from his Pay accordingly — Sam &c N.S.
