The Treasurer of the United States will remit you the sum of Three hundred thirty four dollars & [undecipherable] which you will please to pay to William Leverett, late Contractor at Bennington, being a balance due him for Rations, Baracks matter & Hospital Stores, furnished the Recruits at that place under the command of Major Buell & Capt Mc Woodwards between the 16 Sept & 11 Oct 1799 for which sum you will please to take his Duplicate rects — one of which is to be forwarded to this Office
