Vouchers therein mentioned is received and as from the contents of
the letter it appears that a future transaction will shortly take
place? I shall reserve the examination of this new account un-
til the mete shall be forwarded. In the mean time believe me to be

I received yours of the 19 last month and enclosed
you statements of the rations received by [undecipherable] & urge the
showing that both their officers own accounts double rations as
Commandants at [undecipherable] for the same period. The object of this
communication is that I may be informed what steps have been
taken therein, to govern me in making a charge of the rations
overeceived that the amount may be deducted from the accounts
of the officer by the Pay master General — I am &c
