In the examination of Dobiridge Crocker's account Stitt by you an objection was had to a very material amusement that is, why the price of the ration was not reduces conformably to the act of the 8 March 1799, indeed reducing the allowance of Monongahela Whiskey; this was a duty probably incumbent on you to have received for and of consequence requires some explanation from you.
Mr Crocker having presented to this Office his accounts to February altho' his January accounts have yet not been before had me to presume they are in your possession; if correct and my requisitions I shall thank you to forward them without delay.
