Sir,
I enclose with this Letter three copies of the last Indian Intercourse act, and eighteen of a late Act for the preservation of peace with the Indian Tribes. You will be pleased to forward two of the former and twelve of the latter, to Captain Lewis.
I will also thank you to take the first opportunities of conveying the enclosed Letters for Genl Winchester and Coll Butler to those Gentlemen.
