Too Busy to Examine the Invoice, Etc.
Document 1800The clothing sent by Captain Garman has been received. Freeman admits that he has been too much occupied to examine the voucher but will do it soon. Enclosed is a note from Captain Kalteisen respecting his company's clothing.

Dear Sir
The clothing which was sent by Capt. Jameson was received on the 18th with care. I have been so much occupied that I have not had time to compare it with the invoice, but I shall do it as soon as possible and you shall be informed of the result.
By the reg work of Capt. [undecipherable] I enclose you a note respecting his company’s clothing. I am Dear Sir Your humble servant Conl. Freeman
